I give this 4 stars for anyone looking to practice using Java, who isn't already a programmer, which was my purpose. It is loaded with review questions and programming problems, many of which build on previous problems, and I found it did a good job of enforcing concepts the I'd been studying. I wasn't able to access much of the online content, which may have been because it was a library book, or perhaps because it's older and much of the content has been taken down. Cay Horstmann Java Concepts Pdf Free
A fairly convoluted introduction to Java... based on the principle of just do it, you don't need to know why it happens, which I found frustrating, but other people may like.
